Try and don’t give up

Try and don’t give up.

One of my favorite conference talks came from President Henry B Eyring. The talk was called “Try, Try, Try.”

A quote from this talk I would like to share is something that has helped me. As I have faced my own tests of life, I know who to turn to for direction, my Heavenly Father.

Here is the quote.

“The loving God who allowed these tests for you also designed a sure way to pass through them. Heavenly Father so loved the world that He sent His Beloved Son to help us. His Son, Jesus Christ, gave His life for us.

Jesus Christ bore in Gethsemane and on the cross the weight of all our sins. He experienced all the sorrows, the pains, and the effects of our sins so that He could comfort and strengthen us through every test in life.”

Are we allowing Him to strengthen us through our personal tests in life?

What I liked the most about this is the design our Heavenly Father put forth. He designed a sure way to pass through our tests of life.

It’s a “sure way.” He didn’t say a “possible way” or “maybe way.”

We can and will get through our tests.

Can you think of and see the Heavenly design your Father in Heaven has created for you?

If not, don’t give up—Try, try, try.

We are never going to be lost if we follow the guidance of our prophet and apostles. The messages they share are part of the divine design to help us through our tests.

As we study them and our scriptures, we will feel Heavenly guidance. Pray each day for answers to open the doors to His divine design—He has a tailor-fitted design for each of us.

Hear Him!
