It doesn’t matter who you are, you are loved by God.

It doesn’t matter who you are, you are loved by God.
.
That’s a powerful truth. How do we know this truth?
.
“He inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile” (2 Nephi 26:33).
.
We are all invited—not just certain people.
.
We don’t decide who gets to go towards the Lord. Our actions need to align with this statement and we need to help others come to know Jesus Christ.
.
If you have a problem with racism, a certain sex, someone incarcerated, or of another faith, you need to figure it out. Everyone is equal in the eyes of God.
.
If you can’t see yourself the brother or sister of those who offend you, pray for humility. It’s not easy and I’m not saying it is. We are required to love our enemies.
.
“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you” (Matthew 5:43–44).
.
Did you realize forgiveness is a commandment? Well, it is.
.
The Lord said, “I, the Lord, will forgive whom I will forgive, but of you it is required to forgive all men” (Doctrine and Covenants 64:10).
.
The Lord has also made us this promise, that if we forgive others, He will forgive us.
.
What else do we learn if we do not forgive someone who has offended us?
.
Well, the greater sin lies with us (see Doctrine and Covenants 64:9).
.
I share all of these things because each one helps me to remember that it doesn’t matter who we are, we are all loved by God. We are all His!
.
Hear Him!
