How much time do we have left?

How much time do we have left?
.
It’s an excellent question to consider, but it’s definitely not one you’re going to figure out or need to stress about.
.
There are days I ask myself this question, and I hope if I stare at the sky long enough something will happen.
.
I would suggest you ask yourself another question.
.
How am I contributing to the work of the Lord?
.
Don’t run faster than you have strength. If you’re not building your spirit, you’re running faster than you have strength. You won’t cross the finish line—You’ll burn out before you do.
.
The Lord doesn’t want you to burn out. He wants you to have joy in the process. He wants you to be encouraged and have understanding.
.
As you build your spiritual stamina, you’ll have the strength and power to endure to the end.
.
Here is another reminder.
.
It’s not an excuse to dismiss your duties at the “Don’t run faster than you have strength.”
.
You’re not excused from the covenants you’ve made. “Those who accept the blessings of the gospel are bound by covenants to act in certain ways. We have general duties—nurturing our children, serving others, keeping the commandments—and we have specific duties that arise out of our own choices, the Church callings we receive, the promises we make, and the obligations we freely accept.” Elder Taggart.
.
Make each day count. Find your balance in all things. It is possible to find balance; you just have to practice.
.
I’ve been on the go my entire life. If there is one thing I have learned about a full plate, it’s the fact that I am learning how to balance a loaded plate.
.
If you only balance a small plate, you’ll never be able to balance the larger plate when you’re asked to do so. I personally like to balance a heavy plate and keep adding to it.
.
As long as I have the guidance from the Lord, I feel comfortable with what I’m given. The busier I am, the more I feel I’m contributing to the Lord’s work. This life is about learning and growing.
.
Stop worrying about how much time is left and begin asking what more can you do to advance His work.
.
The Lord balanced the world on His plate. Hear Him!
