You don’t have to try so hard to be anyone but yourself.

You don’t have to try so hard to be anyone but yourself.
.
We are all different—Do we realize that?
.
We should try being ourselves and not what those “of the world” are expecting. That’s the best part about his life. We can do things differently than others.
.
Be the best follower of Christ but be the best leader amongst those you engage with.
.
If you want to do something, then what or who is stopping you from doing it? Live your life the way you’re inspired to live your life.
.
Seek the Lord in your journey. Ask Him to present new and exciting opportunities to you.
.
We all have different attributes from Heavenly parents. What are yours? Are you trying to find them or are you wishing and desiring to have what someone else has?
.
It’s okay to admire someone’s talents, but don’t forget you have talents given to you, as well. If you haven’t discovered them, keep seeking. They are there and they will come at the time He is ready to present them to you.
.
You probably have gifts and talents that you have not yet discovered or that are still dormant. It’s up to you to find them and they must be awakened.
.
The Lord told Joseph Smith, “For all have not every gift given unto them; for there are many gifts, and to every man is given a gift by the Spirit of God.
.
“To some is given one, and to some is given another, that all may be profited thereby.” (D&C 46:11–12.).
.
You may want to do things that others do, and that’s okay to do; it may seem easier for them and difficult for you. That doesn’t mean you give up. Here is an excellent reminder if and when that happens.
.
Ralph Waldo Emerson: “That which we persist in doing becomes easier for us to do, not that the nature of the thing itself is changed, but that our power to do is increased.”
.
It is possible for gifts to be bestowed, but not received. The Lord asks the question, “For what doth it profit a man if a gift is bestowed upon him, and he receive not the gift? Behold, he rejoices not in that which is given unto him, neither rejoices in him who is the giver of the gift.” (D&C 88:33.)
.
Use your gifts if you have them! If you sing, then sing! If you play an instrument, then play!
.
Hear Him!
