Nothing we do is easy

Nothing we do is easy.
.
I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year.
.
2020 was a year filled with difficulties. 2021 is probably going to be another year filled with problems. (Sorry to seem like the bearer of bad news.)
.
When has anything ever been easy for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or followers of Jesus Christ?
.
We are in the final days, brothers and sisters, and we need to recognize where we are and how far we have come—Don’t give up on Christ if 2021 is another eventful year.
.
Hold your heads high and be proud! 2020 didn’t “get ya,” and neither will 2021, if you continue to live your life in accordance to the Gospel teachings and standards. Work each day to Hear Him!
.
The following comes from a talk by Elder M Russell Ballard.
.
“These are the last days. As foretold by God’s holy prophets since the world began, they are challenging times, and they are going to become even more challenging.
.
Jesus Christ said the following.
.
“And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
.
“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many” (Matt. 24:10–11).
.
“Some Latter-day Saints may not be aware of it, but there are “false prophets” rising within and without the Church.
.
They believe they have had revelations, that they know something the First Presidency and the Twelve Apostles don’t know. We need to be very careful of such people.
.
Members who are ever approached by anyone claiming special authority or revelation from God outside the sustained priesthood authority should turn and run from them as fast as they can.
.
The Savior said that in the last days even the very elect could be pulled away from the truth by such false prophets.” (end quote).
.
As we enter the New Year, remember your heartstrings are going to be pulled at some point. You’re going to run into problems and difficulties.
.
The Lord wants you to remember one thing,”that all these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good.” D&C 122:7.
.
Hear Him!
