There is peace in Christ.

There really is. As I listen and read the lyrics of this song, it immediately brings a sense of belonging—when there is no peace on earth, there is peace in Christ.

“Listen to His words, let them come alive.”

How do you read the scriptures? Do you they come alive for you? Do you feel peace in Christ when you study them?
.
When He said, “Forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Does that come alive to you?
.
When He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.” Does that come alive to you?
.
When He said, “But seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Does that come alive to you?
.
When He said, “Ask and it will be given. Seek and you will find. Knock and the door will be opened for you.” Does that come alive to you?

The scriptures should come alive to you as you study them and pray for them to open your minds and your hearts. Ask the Lord for the spirit to be with you as you study.

There is no point to have the scriptures and study them if you’re not going to pray for guidance while doing so.

As a police officer, I have tools and equipment to do my job. I am ready to do the job but if I don’t pick up the radio and communicate with dispatch and ask them details, I will go into a situation blind. They give me answers I can’t see and do not know from my current locations.

They protect me as I do my job and provide knowledge and security.
.
It’s the same thing with a loving Heavenly Father. He is my spiritual lifeline. I have the tools to do the job but they are of no use to me if I don’t ask Him for revelation to guide me into the unknown.

There is peace in Christ and He wants His words to come alive to us.

He has a message for you if you will hear Him!
