The Standard of Truth

The Standard of Truth.
.
It won’t be the first or the last time members of the church are mocked and persecuted. The same deceitful type of man will fight all their days to bring down the truth as did the men and women in Joseph Smiths’ time.
.
They were angry with Joseph Smith and called him a liar and a fraud, but they still believed him enough that they wanted to follow him and steal the gold plates from him—Moroni warned Joseph of this.
.
I presume the same people who fight relentlessly against the church today would do the same. They believe it enough to keep up the good fight, and if Joseph Smith, the gold plates, or angels were visiting today, they’d want to come to check it out.
.
Our message is simple—pray and ask God yourself. If you believe in God, He will manifest the truth of it unto you. If it’s false, He will do the same.
.
God also wants His children to be happy. If you find what the Book of Mormon has to offer is false, then leave it alone and move on until you find what God reveals to be true to you. On the other hand, if you find it to be true, be brave, and share your testimony with the world.
.
God has never asked us to bring down other religions or mock members of other faiths. He has asked us to love one another.
.
Why be miserable the rest of your days to prove to others your unbelief? If the Book of Mormon leads your friends and family members to do good and wholesome things, why chastise them for that? Commend them for their excellent works. Be proud that they have found happiness.
.
I can testify to you that the Book of Mormon has never steered me wrong. It makes me ponder about Jesus Christ and makes me want to do better. It gives me hope that I can be forgiven and teaches me how to be pure in heart.
.
There will always be naysayers and those who want to “steal your gold bible.” Why? Because you have something that the adversary doesn’t want you to have.
.
The Standard of Truth has been erected; no unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing…
.
Hear Him!
