The power of Jesus Christ

The power of Jesus Christ.
.
Take a minute and imagine for a second what we learn in third and fourth Nephi?
.
What can we see happening? Well, we see all of the blessings of the Nephites as they overcame selfishness. They prospered in absolute and perfect righteousness.
.
How long? Four generations!! Who does not desire for this to happen now?
.
“And they had all things common among them; therefore there were not rich and poor, bond and free, but they were all made free, and partakers of the heavenly gift.
.
And there were no envyings, nor strifes, nor tumults, nor whoredoms, nor lyings, nor murders, nor any manner of lasciviousness; and surely there could not be a happier people among all the people who had been created by the hand of God.” (4 Ne. 1:3, 16.)
.
How was this possible?
.
”Therefore, I would that ye should behold that the Lord truly did teach the people, for the space of three days; and after that he did show himself unto them oft, and did break bread oft, and bless it, and give it unto them.” 3 Nephi 26:13.
.
This was such an incredible period of time. One of the best scriptures follows the above.
.
In verse 14, “And it came to pass that he did teach and minister unto the children of the multitude of whom hath been spoken, and he did loose their tongues, and they did speak unto their fathers great and marvelous things, even greater than he had revealed unto the people; and he loosed their tongues that they could utter.”
.
Focus on the children. Mormon tells us what happened to the children. Christ allowed the little children to speak things He didn’t even speak. What an incredible moment. The child revealing things to the adults that Christ didn’t even tell.
.
Children know Heavenly things. Things Christ doesn’t even reveal unto the people. We can learn so much from them about the mysteries of Heaven if we are listening.
.
As we move into the Christmas season, look at how magical it is for the children. Why is it so magical? Maybe because they left a magical place not too long ago, and it’s still all so real to them. The power and authority of Jesus Christ is comforting and compelling. Hear Him!
