Have nothing but Integrity.

Have nothing but Integrity.
.
How nice would it be if we honored what was written in the Deseret News back in 1882?
.
“Let us be pure, let us be virtuous, let us be honorable, let us maintain our integrity, let us do good to all men, and tell the truth always, and treat everybody right.”
.
Why is it so challenging to treat everyone right?
.
A tribute was once written about the prophet John Taylor. It was written by George Q. Cannon and Joseph F. Smith. Here is what was said about the prophet.
.
“He met every issue squarely, boldly and in a way to call forth the admiration of all who saw and heard him. Undaunted courage, unyielding firmness were among his most prominent characteristics. … He was a man whom all could trust.”
.
How many people can you trust? Is there anyone in your life that has those same qualities? I can name several.
.
We need to live by principles of truth and righteousness. We can honor our society by being men and women of integrity.
.
Are you a deceitful person? Do you lie to your family and friends? Are you really the person you claim to be? If so, how long will you keep up the act? Until you meet your maker?
.
He knows ALL!! You can’t hide from him, and you can’t fool him. He knows what kind of integrity you will have displayed during your probation on earth.
.
Be honest in your purpose. That’s one thing we can control. It’s the most important thing you can do. If you’re not, you have lost everything. Everything about you will be a lie, and you will be miserable not only here but in the afterlife. There is no place for corruption in Kingdom of God. The absence of integrity is a dishonor to your spiritual character.
.
“We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.”
.
Cast out the evil, have integrity, and Hear Him!
.
