Is living the Gospel hard?

Yeah, it can be.

Becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ requires a lot of work and many times it requires a lot of sacrifice.

Sometimes it’s challenging to find the motivation to live the commandments and make those sacrifices.

Some days I want to fulfill my calling and wonder why others struggle to do the same. Then in the same breath, I want to be released and do nothing.

We are all human. We have a roller coaster of emotions. We have good days, and other days, not so much.
.
There are leaders in the church that I wish I were more like. They just seem to excel at everything they do; however, they are no different than you and me. They probably look at us and wish they were more like us.

Everyone is good at something. That’s the critical thing to understand. We all need each other’s example.

We often make the Gospel harder than it needs to be.
.
It doesn’t matter who you are or what stage of life you’re at in life. You have the choice to find your own motivation. You have to cultivate your faith in the Savior. His gospel is up to you.

He isn’t going to force-feed it to you. Whatever effort you put into it, you’ll yield the results of your actions.
