God’s Kingdom is Order.

God’s Kingdom is Order.
.
I think, as adults, we have a different perspective on what order is and what freedom is.
.
When we were kids, freedom to do whatever is what was enjoyable. That’s how I remember it. I didn’t want to be told what to do or how to do things. I wanted to be free!
.
As I’ve grown older, I appreciate order and the reason behind it. This thing we label as ‘order’ gives me freedom.
.
“There is nothing so important in the kingdom of God as order; yet the tendency today is to resist law and order, which must be maintained in the kingdom of God if we are to be pleasing in the sight of the Lord “Be one,” the Lord said, “and if you are not one you are not mine.” The only way we can be one is by following the leadership of the Church as the Lord has directed.” Harold B Lee.
.
I honestly don’t know how much clearer it gets than that?
.
If we can’t keep the laws of the land, what makes us think we can maintain the laws of God when we return to His kingdom?
.
It’s not even about wanting to be a good citizen and obeying the laws of the land. It’s about the desire—the desire to become like God.
.
If we want to become like God, we need to do our best on this earth to be like Him. We need to have a strong desire to maintain law and order. He doesn’t want this worldly chaos in His kingdom.
.
So, we have to fix our actions and align them with His will. How would He act and what kind of citizen does He want you to be?
.
Law-abiding! That’s the kind of citizen He wants you to be.
.
Did you know that every problem people have can be solved by talking to Jesus Christ? Every problem!
.
Every problem that afflicts us, our world, and our country, they can be solved if we will only talk to the Lord and then, just important, listen when the Lord answers.
.
Hear Him!
