Have you feasted upon the scriptures?
.
President Nelson spoke in General Conference about his time spent feasting upon every related scripture related to the Gathering of Israel.
.
This is a powerful message and a strong example for us to follow.
.
We may have our own “feast” we are trying to consume. Whatever it is, are you doing it with all your heart, mind, and soul?
.
President Nelson shared a personal study with us. A study that has captured his mind for more than 36 years.
.
“I have studied the gathering, prayed about it, feasted upon every related scripture, and asked the Lord to increase my understanding.” President Nelson
.
How about you? Have you done everything to receive new revelation and understanding of what captures your mind?
.
Amazingly, we can always learn more. We can also be delighted when we find a new insight. Never stop and never give up. Continue learning about the things that capture your mind.
.
I was asked a personal question last night by one of you wonderful followers. I want to share my response with everyone.
.
The question: Have you ever been in a situation where you had a hard time making a decision/choice? What did you do? Or what had helped you to make the decision?
.
My response: You’re Not Messing Up God’s Plan for You.
.
That’s about the best answer I have for you or myself. God doesn’t measure us against any decision we make or don’t make.
.
He wants us to talk to Him about the decisions we have to make, and He wants us to ask Him ”help me make the decision that is going to best further my mortal progression.” (I would add Eternally, as well).
.
Once we’ve included Him in the decision process, we need to make a decision and trust the Lord will steer us in the direction of His will.
.
As we include Him, feast, study, and pray, we will make decisions which will help us learn and progress (right or wrong). We will hear Him, and new insight will come.
