Have you committed to standing strong and firm in your faith?

Have you committed to standing strong and firm in your faith? You’re going to be challenged by your peers, and the world for being a member of Christ’s Church. Be ready for it.
.
People are going to ridicule you, but privately they will respect you for your standards. I’ve seen this time and time again in my own life. We are not, and we do not have to be the same person we were 5, 10, 15 years ago.
.
Who says you can’t change? I’ll tell you who. It’s someone who wishes they had your determination and will power. It’s someone who isn’t strong enough to make the right choices for themselves. It’s someone that wants you to fail with them. It’s someone with no discipline.
.
You’re going to be persecuted, ridiculed, mocked, scorn, and shunned. Most people won’t even know why they are doing so, and some will laugh at you for being a member. The worst will be those who have tasted of it’s goodness and fallen away from it.
.
People who have read the Book of Mormon, believed in it, were brought to the waters of baptism because of it, and have decided to trash it; they will try the hardest to bring you down with them.
.
To those individuals, I feel sorry for them. I feel sorry because they personally believe they were misled by another person. They feel someone convinced them to say ”I know the Book of Mormon is true. I know Joseph Smith is the Prophet of the restoration. I know we have a living Prophet and Apostles on earth today. I know the Gospel is true.”
.
I’m sorry, but that is taking no ownership for your own actions and choices. That’s you blaming someone else for something you chose to do. You chose to read the Book of Mormon, you chose to pray, you chose to say you had a testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, you chose to make covenants with God. No one else, but you!
.
Never in my life have I chose to do something so significant and make such serious choices and then blamed someone else and called them misleading. I choose to do my homework and if I’m wrong, I don’t blame anyone but myself.
.
“No member of this Church can stand approved in the presence of God who has not seriously and carefully read the Book of Mormon” JFS.

Hear Him!
