Who will they really know?
.
Do your friends, families, relatives, co-workers, and those you may serve church callings with know who you are?
.
Are you the same person at church as you are at work? Are you the same person in your home as you are outside of your home?
.
Why is it so difficult to be true to yourself? What holds you back from staying true to the spirit that dwells inside of you?
.
Are you kind to people only when you are around them, and when they turn their back, do you talk about them in negative ways?
.
Ask yourself if you do this, ”And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.” 2 Nephi 25:26.
.
Do you represent those things, and when push comes to shove, do you stand up for Christ and hold to the iron rod?
.
“We invite you to be a major part of sharing the message of the ongoing Restoration of the Savior’s gospel. . . . The time to act is now. This is a hinge point in the history of the Church, and your part is vital.” —President Russell M. Nelson.
.
How clear does it need to be? We are at a hinge point—According to a dictionary, “A hinge point is the point where something literally pivots. It’s the turning point where you are going to see a significant change take place.”
.
So, are you going to make the pivot and be part of the significant changes in the Gospel of Jesus Christ? We are in the final days, brothers and sisters. Running out of time is happening.
.
I want to remind you of another important reason to be true to yourself and a major reason to ask yourself, ”Who will they really know.”
.
“As President of His Church, I plead with you who have distanced yourselves from the Church and with you who have not yet really sought to know that the Savior’s Church has been restored. Do the spiritual work to find out for yourselves, and please do it now. Time is running out.” — President Russell M. Nelson
