Avoid Temptation Today

Avoid Temptation Today!
.
Tomorrow is General Conference. Whatever temptation you may have today, do your best to avoid it and change direction!
.
“We look forward to General Conference… It’s a time that will be forever remembered.” Elder Neil L. Andersen, Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
.
What are you willing to do TODAY to prepare your mind spiritually and maintain the presence of the Holy Ghost? That statement by Elder Andersen is a message from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
.
The twelve Apostles are His Special Witness. They are seers and revelators. They testify, preach, and baptize in His name.
.
You can take that message from Elder Andersen as a direct message from the Lord. The Lord is telling us this conference is a time that will forever be remembered!
.
I plead with everyone to take that message and do whatever you can to prepare for tomorrow and Sunday. Avoid any temptation today and go into this weekend READY to receive the message from our Prophet, Apostles, and leaders.
.
The past six months have been life-altering for me. I have a deeper connection with my savior Jesus Christ and my Father in Heaven. I feel their direction in my duties at home and work.
.
I am not perfect; I still argue with my wife; I still get frustrated with my children; I still struggle with personal choices; I still need my savior’s influence every day.
.
Having changed course over the past few months, I have found the “Iron Rod.” If you’re lost and drowning in life, I urge you to find the Lord. His message is located in the scriptures; He is waiting for you to kneel in prayer.
.
Find the Iron Rod this weekend. Avoid temptation today and HEAR HIM!
