Listen to the Prophet!

Listen to the Prophet.
.
As I went back and listened to April’s General Conference, a few things stood out to me. Nothing too new, but still powerful guidance.
.
Hear Him! Words spoken by God the Father.
.
To whom? To Joseph Smith.
.
Who are we to hear? Jesus Christ, His Son.
.
Why? Because God the Father was there to support His Son in the great work of the restoration of the Gospel, He is one with His Son, and His Son is one with His father to coordinate this great mission. Together, it is their will to bring to pass the eternal life and salvation of man.
.
“We pray that you will begin anew truly to hear, hearken to, and heed the words of the Savior. I promise that decreased fear and increased faith will follow.” Pres. Nelson
.
If we are doing those things, we will know things are in the Lord’s hands and always have been. He wants us to hear Him because He is trying to tell us to BE CALM.
.
When I look at the current situation we are in, I feel the present pandemic has been controlled to a much better degree then it was. I also think our caregivers have felt and seen relief. Our economy is also in great shape. We are nowhere near the economic challenges we faced in 2007-2009.
.
I also feel life has been pretty normalized (for my family). We can go to restaurants, work, play sports, and have family gatherings. Again, this is what’s happening for me.
.
I feel blessed by participating in the worldwide fasts. I personally feel blessed by following the guidance of the Prophet and leaders of the Church. I feel blessed by doing my very best to hear Him daily!
.
“I invite all, including those not of our faith, to fast and pray on Good Friday, April 10, that the present pandemic may be controlled, caregivers protected, the economy strengthened, and life normalized.” President Nelson.
.
If you are still struggling, don’t give up. We all have challenges and tribulations. Keep going and know the Lord is there. Satan would like you to believe otherwise.
.
“Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna to God and the Lamb. Amen, Amen, and Amen,”
