Walk in the Lord’s light, not yours.

Walk in the Lord’s light, not yours.
.
I don’t know about you, but I can get caught up in my emotions and lose sight of the bigger picture.
.
If we are not careful, we can get pulled under the exhaustion of our efforts, and everything we are trying to accomplish never seems to be produced. Then our heart lets loose its grip, and motivation slips through our fingers, but why?
.
It may be different for everyone, but for me, it’s usually when I’m walking in my kindle of flames and not in the light of Christ.
.
We are human, and sometimes we forget who to thank. As the years go on, I am getting better at recognizing which light I’m walking in. I can’t do anything alone—everything is the will of my Father in Heaven.
.
If you want to enjoy a warm fire and are struggling to get more than a spark, you have to bring the right equipment and materials.
.
The same in life. If you want to produce good things and return to the presence of your Maker, you need to include Him and every tool he has provided you during your mortal journey.
.
Isaiah 50:11, this teaches us what happens when we try to do things without the Lord and take credit the upon ourselves.
.
”Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.”
.
Hear Him, and he will make your fire the perfect heat for you.
