Love One Another

Love one another.
.
Yesterday, as I sat in my garage watching the BYU game, we were also having a neighborhood party.
.
There was a larger than usual gathering, and it was nice to see—many ward members, neighbors, and friends from different locations.
.
I learned of two things that bring people together—football and food!
.
There were no real arguments that I observed, just people having a joyous time. Everyone was outdoors and mingling. Kids were running around and screaming. For a minute, I thought we were in some state of Heaven. It appeared as if the worldwide pandemic was over, and there was no hatred towards one another.
.
Yesterday was a tender mercy, and I hope everyone can soon have similar experiences.
.
Ministering to each other was what I saw in the crowd of family and friends. “Caring for the needy is less about giving away stuff and more about filling the need of human contact. Like the Savior, you are the best gift you can give others in need.” – Sister Eubank.
.
Remember that He invites “all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile” (2 Nephi 26:33). Make room and create inclusion.
.
These are things we need to always remember. We are brothers and sisters. We are not above each other and we are never better than someone else.
.
To truly honor Jesus Christ, we need to do as He did. He would reach out to everyone with loving compassion and mercy. There is no doubt we can do this daily, by what we say and how we act—no matter where we are.
.
We must try to be a little kinder, more forgiving, less judgemental, grateful, and more generous to our communities. There are so many who need to feel the light of Christ.
.
Our goal is two things—Hear Him and help others to do the same!
.
Love One Another!
