What kind of cross do you bear?
.
I want everyone to know that it’s okay to have affliction and responsibilities—some of us may have several crosses to bear.
.
It’s all about our willingness to accept these crosses and the direction we go. Are you picking up your cross and moving it towards the greater good?
.
Christ moved his cross all the way to Golgotha. We may think,”yeah, but he moved it to His death.”
.
Sure, if we look at it that way, He surely did move his cross to where He would die.
.
However, we need to look at it differently. He didn’t just move His cross to His death sentence. He moved it to the finish line!
.
Christ had one goal in mind and that was moving His cross up the hill of Golgotha for US!! He moved it in the direction of the better. The better being, the completion of the Atonement.
.
We all are burdened, but Christ has told all of us, ”And he that will not take up his cross and follow me, and keep my commandments, the same shall not be saved.” D&C 56:2.

You may have lost a family member to suicide.
.
You may have lost a loved one to cancer.
.
You may have lost a loved one to drug/alcohol overdose.
.
You may have cancer.
.
You may be blind, deaf, or lack mobility.
.
You may have deep depression or struggle from post-traumatic stress.
.
You may struggle with financial setbacks.
.
You may be hated for racial ethnicity or career choice.
.
Whatever cross you have been given. It’s going to be okay!! I promise you that.
.
The Savior promises you that! It’s why He didn’t stop. It’s why He kept going! He moved forward His cross for you! He moved it in the direction of eternal salvation!
.
He will give us strength, peace, and ease our burdens during our unruly responsibilities and burdens in this life.
.
He asks you to hear Him! He has been resurrected and is coming! Be prepared and move your cross towards Him!!
