Purge Your Temple if It’s Filthy!

Purge your temple if it’s filthy!
.
All too often, I see people waiting for direction. People are waiting for someone to move their chess pieces for them. Why is this?
.
Christ has laid it out there for us. He has told us what to do and how to do it. He provided a perfect example of what you should be doing.
.
He never said,” wait and sit idle.” If Nephi can say,” I will go and do the things which the Lord commanded,” then so can we!
.
Don’t avoid work and be lazy. Get up and get moving. There is work to be done, and Christ has no reason to enlighten your mind with His spirit until you put forth the effort.
.
We are to act, not be acted upon. The scriptures, conference talks, ministering, and everything else don’t work unless you access them. You have to open your scriptures and read them physically. You have to push play and tune in if you want to listen to a talk. You have to come out of your comfort zone and say ‘hello’ to people.
.
Lead by example—show others who you are! Set the tone moving forward and be a light to everyone you come in contact with. Make them ask, “Who is this person that generates peace, joy, and kindness.”
.
The world needs people to lead! There are too many followers of man. We need more followers of Christ. Don’t let Satan prevail. Turn the darkness into light!
.
We need to remember “the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.” 1 Ne 3:7.
.
Sitting idle and waiting for your pieces of chess to be moved isn’t going to change the hearts of the people—the world needs you! Christ needs you to stand up for truth and righteousness.
.
We can’t just give up, so get up and act with all your might! Through courage and lots of teamwork, we will win and bring light to the darkness. I’ve learned many lessons over my life that I’ve never forgotten. One of them being: NEVER QUIT WHEN THINGS GET TOUGH!!
.
It doesn’t mean you get to throw in the towel. Satan is waiting for it—he’s saying,” join my team, you wimp.”
.
We have the best example of what to do when things get tough. Read about Jesus Christ and what He did when things got tough!
