What legacy do you want to leave for your children?
.
It’s hard for me to explain to my children what’s going on in OUR Nation. They didn’t understand why they had to miss the last part of their school year.
–
My 4-year-old thought she was in trouble. She was sick a week before lock down and missed school. She thought she was the reason for not being able to see her friends in pre-school.
.
My family isn’t the only household. There are so many others with personal stories.
.
Missionaries were sent home, businesses were shut down, church was ’canceled,’ work was moved to home, jobs were lost, and the list continues.
.
In the middle of all of this, we had a massive earthquake where I live.
.
My kids were worried about all of these things—Then they had protests and riots to process.
.
As a dad, I have to save the day. It’s my job. Just like all of the mom’s and dad’s. How have you done that?
.
Have you taught your children about the American dream? Have you taught your children about Jesus Christ?
.
Who allows us to follow our dreams? I would say WE do. Our Heavenly Father gave us agency. Our actions in society determine the outcome. We can either destroy ourselves or allow God into ALL of our activities.

”In God We Trust”
.
When I think of America the Beautiful, I think of a loving God. I think of a place the Lord created for us to enjoy.
.
So, I ask. Are you enjoying America? If not, why and what can you do personally to make a small difference?
.
The answer is not hate and violence. The answer is love and Christlike behavior.

Patriotism is trying always to give more to the Nation than we receive. It is selfless service. — Ezra Taft Benson
.
When we safeguard the Heavenly Nature of Freedom, we shall have peace on earth good will to men. — Thomas S. Monson
.
What example and legacy do you want to leave for the future of America? Let’s think of these things as we enter the week of Independence Day!! Happy 4th.
I LOVE this. THANK YOU
