THE LORDS ARMY NEEDS YOU

Does The Adversary Have You Where He Wants You?
.
The Lord is waiting now for his soldiers; will you volunteer?
.
I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately. I’ve discussed it with my wife and I’m very aware of an external power and influence surrounding me.
.
It’s taken me a few months to make the necessary realignment in my life and I’m still working on it.
.
As I’ve done so, I’ve received what I expected, opposition. It’s been like that every-time I’ve turned my focus to the Lord. Anger, frustration, irritability, anxiety, and the list goes on and on.
.
Why is this? I am studying the word of the Lord. I’m doing my best to align my mind and spirit with what the scriptures teach, what my parents have taught me, and my leaders in the church.
.
Not everyone is ready just to forgo Facebook, modify an Instagram account to share personal messages and thoughts of the Savior, or try to remove themselves from the negativity in the world—news media apps, unnecessary e-mails, etc…
.
What is the easy answer? For me, that was the easy answer—I was telling my loving wife the other day, I feel the adversary more present now than any other time in my entire life.
.
I’m good with this. Matter of fact, I’m more than good with this. For the first time in my life, I’m able to recognize the two powers—the Lord’s power and the power of the Adversary.
.
Even though I recognize this differently, it’s still strange.
.
I felt less frustration and anxiety prior. I think once the adversary has you where he wants you, he releases his wrath to make you feel like everything is right in your life. When in fact it’s not.
.
I talked this over with my cousin this morning, and he agreed. He said, ”Satan cares for no person. Once he has you, he moves on and abandons you to go get someone else.”
.
Look at your current life. Does Satan have you where he wants you? Or, are you fighting him to align yourself with Christ? War isn’t easy. We are engaged in the biggest war.
.
”We are all enlisted till the conflict is o’er;
Happy are we! Happy are we! Soldiers in the army, there’s a bright crown in store; We shall win and wear it by and by.”
.
The Lord is waiting for soldiers; will you volunteer?
