It’s time to dust off your scriptures.

If you don’t know where your scriptures are or don’t have any, let me know, and I can get one to you.

If you don’t know where to begin, that’s perfect, and there are some exciting times ahead of you!

We learn a lot in the scripture about faith and how to have faith. A few of my favorite verses are from Alma. He teaches us about this, ”Faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith, ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true.”

You don’t have to have a miraculous life event happen to open your eyes and believe in Christ. This right here is everything you need, ”Even if ye can no more than desire to believe,” Alma declares, “let this desire work in you, even until ye believe.”

I’m in no way moving a mountain, so I know my faith is less than a mustard seed, ”Jesus said, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”

The key to that last paragraph is simple. If I can move a mountain with the faith that small, imagine what we can do with the faith half the size of a mustard seed—Even with just the dust of the mustard seed.

We all have to start somewhere. If you can’t yet say you know the teachings of Christ are true, and can only believe they are, your belief is the first step toward conviction!

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are not perfect. I’m definitely not perfect; however, I seek to know my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. What I believe is true to me and I testify it can and will bring happiness to the world. Hear Him!
