Are we prepared for the final inning?

Yesterday, I posted a complete opposite depiction with Christ. We are living in a time of wars and rumors of wars (D&C 45:26). If you would like to call yourself an experienced fighter of war or even a veteran, I would say you’re 💯 correct.

We all fought a war in Heaven before we came here to earth. We were spirits without physical bodies. Our war was most likely seen as a war of words, debating, persuasion, and even different battles of ideas. Without a physical body, I can’t see our war being violent in reference to swords, guns, bombs, and things of that nature.

“Make no mistake about it, you are a marked generation, There has never been more expected of the faithful in such a short period of time than there is of us,” he said. “Never before on the face of this earth have the forces of evil and the forces of good been so well organized.” – ETB

Do we see fighting with weapons today, yes; however, I have seen and been part of ”Wars” potentially similar to the one we had in Heaven. Did He save the best for last? The one’s who can fight wars with words, ideas, debates, and persuasions?

Well, I personally believe so. Here is a useful reference that I have heard time and time again throughout my lifetime.

”God has saved for the final inning some of His stronger and most valiant children, who will help bear off the kingdom triumphantly. … You are the generation that must be prepared to meet your God.” – EZT

We are not only fighting amongst ourselves here on Earth during our mortal probations, but an entire host of to include the Dragon and his Angels.

In Revelations 12:9,11 we learn where Satan went once he was cast out of Heaven, ”And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

In verse eleven, we can see that we were part of a winning battalion. We chose Christ and our Father in Heaven’s plan of happiness, ”And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

We will win this final battle!
